Wanda/Jinga

This pet excels at dispatching crowds of mobs with great PP efficiency, but falls behind other pets when tasked with fighting a single target for an extended period of time.

Because of their great mobbing capabilities and solid survivability, this should be one of the very first pets you obtain.

Jinga Assault Jinga Assault (5 PP)
Jinga briefly zig-zags in a line before returning to your side.

Sometimes used to hit enemies in a line, but the main use of this PA is to recall Jinga so you can buff it or heal it.

Jinga Assault

Jinga Break Jinga Break (10 PP)
Jinga dashes in a circle, knocking enemies down.

Excels against small to mid-sized crowds of enemies. You can also cast Zondeel to group enemies together for Jinga Break.

Also, make sure not to hold down Jinga Break while using it. If you manually press (and release) the PA for each cast, the PA will have a slightly shorter animation.

Jinga Break

Jinga Slicer Jinga Slicer (15 PP)
Jinga performs two wide slashes, hitting enemies in front of it.

Has very comparable DPS and PP efficency to Jinga Break, coming slightly behind in both regards.

Because of this, Slicer can usually be used in similar situations to Break. Make sure not to hold down Jinga Slicer - manually repeat the PA only after the second hit of Slicer has hit.

Jinga Slicer

Slicer Mechanics

Unlike Break where you’re locked into the PA cast, you can actually issue commands during the Slicer animation.

Firstly, this is useful for PP regen - if you jump after casting Slicer, you’ll start your PP regeneration early and gain back PP during the PA.

This can also be used to apply Point Assist during the PA, instead of stopping mid combat to cast it.

Jinga Slicer and Point Assist

Break vs Slicer
Slicer and Break have extremely similar DPS and PP efficiency, so the choice between which to use comes down to whether you have Alter Ego up and how these PAs interact with the hitboxes of the enemies you’re fighting.

Break is generally preferred over Slicer if you're fighting a small crowd during Alter Ego.

This is because you'll typically be using Rykros Staff in these situations, which launches a projectile when you use a pet PA. Break has a shorter animation, so it wins out in this scenario.

Slicer is preferred against enemies with small, obnoxious weak points such as Luminmechs, regardless of whether Alter Ego is active, because Slicer is more precise than Break.
Jinga Shock Jinga Shock (20 PP)
Jinga instantly generates a large shock that stuns small mobs and damages enemies in the area.

Great versus big, spread out crowds of enemies or any enemies that you want to keep locked down. This is Jinga’s least PP efficient PA so be mindful of your PP while using this.

Shock also has a lower DPS notation than Break - so before using Shock, consider if it's possible to group the crowd together using Zondeel to make Break a viable option. If not, spam Shock to your heart's content.

Jinga Shock

Jinga Pulsar Jinga Pulsar / Pulser (10 PP)
Jinga lunges upwards applying a damage over time effect to all enemies struck. DoT lasts 15s

This is a super useful DPS tool provided that your target(s) will live long enough for most of the DoT's ticks to go off. Against Ultra Hard enemies, this is usually the case, just remember to avoid using this PA against any particularly weak enemies.
